Fifth Avenue: Retail’s Window to the World Friday, Dec. 6

8:30-9:30 a.m. Breakfast
9:30-10:30 a.m. Session

$25 Fee, includes breakfast

Fifth Avenue, located in the heart of New York City, remains the home of many great stores, including Bergdorf Goodman, Tiffany’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. While Fifth Avenue has undergone many changes, it maintains its position as one of the most elegant addresses in New York and one of the grandest retail districts in the world. This session considers the visual merchandising and design approaches of established New York retailers, such as Saks Fifth Avenue and the new fast-fashion retailers who view their new Manhattan stores as more than a window to Fifth Avenue, but rather as a “window to the world.”Speakers:

Tom Beebe, Vice President, Creative Services, EMX Group, New York

Harry Cunningham, Senior Vice President, Visual Merchandising and Store Design, Saks Fifth Avenue, New York

Eric Feigenbaum, New York Editor, VMSD, and Chair, Visual Merchandising Dept., LIM College
